About

Once Upon A Disney is an analytical yet fun-loving look at Disney narrative filmography from the 20th Century and beyond!

Each episode investigates one Disney film by placing it into historical context before diving into the structure, the plot, characters, and themes. Plus we always find a little time for a pitch or game at the end!

The goal of this podcast is to help develop an understanding of writing choices – and perhaps ask a few questions! We really work to put these movies in conversation with one another to trace the evolution of Disney storytellingall while helping you improve your own screenwriting!
